Cairo, Egypt – Filming has begun on the highly anticipated drama series “The Prince,” in preparation for its upcoming release. The series falls under the action and suspense genre, unfolding amidst political conflicts and security tensions, while also featuring a human storyline focusing on family relationships.
Huge budget
The production company aims to deliver a unique, cinematic visual experience, allocating a massive initial budget of $40 million for the series. Starring Ahmed Ezz, the show features an Egyptian officer leading a highly complex double life. He infiltrates a network of international covert operations, posing as one of the world’s most wanted terrorists. As his mission becomes increasingly intricate and the plot thickens, he finds himself in a frantic race against time to thwart an imminent attack, navigating a minefield of betrayals and fierce conflicts of interest.
Global participation: “Berlin” in Cairo
In a gesture that garnered significant attention, the internationally acclaimed Spanish actor Pedro Alonso shared a video on his official Instagram account showcasing the view from his hotel room in Cairo overlooking the Nile River. He is currently in Egypt filming scenes for his role in the series. Alonso captioned the video, “The Nile River… Respect… Hello Egypt.”

The series features a distinguished cast of stars, including Ahmed Ezz and Pedro Alonso, with the participation of a large number of stars from the Arab world and beyond. It is written by Salah Al-Juhaini (based on an idea by Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh) and directed by the international director Stephen Hopkins.
