Dubai, United Arab Emirates – A Reuters/Ipsos poll concluded that support for US President Donald Trump has remained at its lowest levels in his current term.

These levels reached 40 percent amid weak ratings from Latino voters.

The six-day poll was conducted amid signs of a weak U.S. labor market. Additionally, it coincided with Trump overseeing a sweeping anti-immigration campaign. There were also intense diplomatic efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Trump’s approval rating was unchanged from the Reuters/Ipsos poll in late July.

But it fell 7 percentage points from the first days of his return to the White House last January. At that time, the percentage was 47 percent.

The latest poll showed that Latino Americans’ support for the president has declined. They were among those who leaned towards him in last year’s elections.

About 32 percent of them supported his performance in the White House. This represents the lowest levels of support for Trump this year.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll included 4,446 American adults in different regions of the United States and online. The margin of error was approximately two percentage points.
