  • Combating Human Trafficking and Safeguarding the International Reputation of Kuwait

Kuwait City, Kuwait – H.E. Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has emphasized that the security and stability of Kuwait is a red line that cannot be compromised, asserting that security authorities will not tolerate any attempts aimed at destabilizing public tranquility. These strong statements come within a comprehensive security strategy to reinforce the rule of law and protect the domestic front from any external or internal threats. Accordingly, enhancing national security in Kuwait represents the fundamental pillar for all government efforts to ensure a safe and stable environment that supports development and prosperity.

Dismantling Cells Linked to External Organizations and Applying Law Without Exception

The Interior Minister revealed the success of security agencies in recently dismantling terrorist cells, where investigations proved the involvement of their members in suspicious activities linked to foreign ideological and organizational affiliations. Obviously, these movements aimed to damage Kuwait’s image and internal stability through subversive agendas. As a result, the Minister confirmed that anyone proven to be involved in these acts will face deterrent and harsh legal measures, stressing that the state is committed to uprooting extremist ideology and drying up the sources of terrorism funding in all its forms.

Combating Human Trafficking and Safeguarding the International Reputation of Kuwait

In a related context, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf affirmed that the Ministry of Interior places the fight against human trafficking crimes at the top of its priorities, given the blatant violation of human values and international laws these crimes represent. Certainly, intensifying deterrent measures to prosecute those involved contributes directly to protecting Kuwait’s prestigious reputation in international forums. Accordingly, enhancing national security in Kuwait remains closely linked to safeguarding national unity, which serves as the impenetrable fence against any attempts to disrupt the cohesive social fabric.
