Lausanne, Switzerland – Eliza Litiev, a player on the UAE judo team, won silver under 78 kg in the Swiss Championship (Grand Slam), which concluded on Sunday.
The UAE national team came in first place in the Arab world, fifth in Asia, and twelfth in the overall standings of the participating teams from 77 countries, and strengthened the score of qualifying points.
Players Naji Yazbek under 73 kg, Georgy Elbakiev under 81 kg, and Muhammad Omar Marouf under 100 kg won. Fifth place in the standings after qualifying for the final round.
