Dubai, UAE – The Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation announced the participation of the modern sailing team in the Elka 4 World Championship. Hosted by Aarhus, Denmark, from August 1 to 10, by player Marwa Al Hammadi.
Mohammed Abdullah Al Obaidli, Secretary General of the Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation, stressed that participation in the World Championship represents an important milestone within the Federation’s strategy. Which aims to develop the level of male and female players and enhance the UAE’s presence in international forums.
He said that representing the UAE through player Marwa Al Hammadi embodies the continuous development witnessed by women’s sailing in the country. It comes within the framework of the Federation’s strategy, headed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, which aims to hone the skills of male and female players. Providing them with more experience through interaction with the most prominent international schools in modern sailing.
For her part.. Marwa Al Hammadi confirmed her readiness to compete in the World Championship. Expressing her aspiration to present an honorable image of the Emirati sail during the global event.
