Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the two terrorist bombings that occurred near the Ministry of Tourism in the Syrian capital, Damascus,
which resulted in injuries to a number of people.
It also reiterated its complete rejection of all terrorist acts that target the security and stability of nations.
Condemnation of the terrorist attack
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed that the UAE strongly condemns these criminal acts.
It also reiterated its firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism, regardless of their motives or justifications.
She explained that such attacks represent a threat to security and stability,
and require concerted regional and international efforts to confront terrorism and dry up its sources of support.
Emirati solidarity with Syria
The Ministry reiterated the UAE’s full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and its people in confronting these terrorist acts.
It also affirmed its support for all efforts to preserve Syria’s security, stability, and the safety of its people.
She also expressed her wishes for a speedy recovery for all those injured,
expressing her hope that the effects of this terrorist attack would be overcome as soon as possible.
