Abu Dhabi, UAE – The special report on trust and health within the Edelman Trust Index 2026 established the UAE’s advanced position in the global healthcare scene. After topping the list of the most trusted countries in the health field among the 16 countries included in the survey. Which embodies the solidity of the health system and the firmness of community confidence in sources of health information and services.

The report’s findings showed that participants from the UAE were most confident in their ability to access reliable health information and make informed decisions about their health. The country has emerged as a model that combines high levels of confidence in the healthcare sector with the expansion of the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies. In an equation that reflects the harmony of innovation with medical efficiency.

The results revealed that 70% of participants in the UAE affirmed their confidence in their ability to find reliable health information and make informed health decisions. While 89% expressed their confidence in their doctor to provide accurate and truthful information about health issues and ways to protect public health.

90% of participants expressed confidence in local and national health authorities. Compared to a global average of 69%, this indicates a firm confidence in health institutions and their role in maintaining public health and enhancing quality of life.

In the context of digital transformation, 59% of participants reported using artificial intelligence to manage their health affairs, a rate significantly higher than the global average of 35%. This confirms the growing reliance on smart solutions as a supportive tributary to the health system.

The report’s findings indicate that consumers in the UAE view artificial intelligence and medical expertise as complementary, not competing, elements. This provides a forward-looking view of the future of healthcare globally, and reflects a model based on the integration of institutional trust and technical innovation in the service of humanity.
