The report’s findings showed that participants from the UAE were most confident in their ability to access reliable health information and make informed decisions about their health. The results revealed that 70% of participants in the UAE affirmed their confidence in their ability to find reliable health information and make informed health decisions. While 89% expressed their confidence in their doctor to provide accurate and truthful information about health issues and ways to protect public health.
90% of participants expressed confidence in local and national health authorities. Compared to a global average of 69%, this indicates a firm confidence in health institutions and their role in maintaining public health and enhancing quality of life.
In the context of digital transformation, 59% of participants reported using artificial intelligence to manage their health affairs, a rate significantly higher than the global average of 35%. This confirms the growing reliance on smart solutions as a supportive tributary to the health system.
The report’s findings indicate that consumers in the UAE view artificial intelligence and medical expertise as complementary, not competing, elements.
