Dubai, UAE – On Monday, the Dubai Chambers held a meeting with the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Zhejiang. To discuss opportunities to develop economic cooperation and enhance trade and investment relations between Dubai and China, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah. Director General of Dubai Chambers, and Chen Jinzhong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Zhejiang.
The two parties discussed ways to raise the level of economic partnership. Focusing on vital sectors that offer promising opportunities for trade and investment cooperation between the two sides, most notably the digital economy.
His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah said, “We are committed to strengthening bridges of cooperation with various Chinese provinces, including Zhejiang Province”. By supporting communication channels between business communities and facilitating the flow of investments. This contributes to creating new opportunities for strategic partnerships, supports the growth of intra-trade, and enhances the competitiveness of companies in both markets.
The meeting is part of a series of meetings organized by the chambers with various Chinese entities. To enhance bilateral trade and investment cooperation between the two sides, Zhejiang Province is the fourth largest economy in China.
