Tehran, Iran – The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday that Tehran had provided what it described as “generous” and logical responses to the American proposal aimed at ending the war. The ministry emphasized that Iran’s vision for a solution was not limited to its national interests alone, but also included ensuring the stability and interests of all countries in the region.
“Generous” demands and regional interests
In a press conference monitored by Al-Manshar News, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei stated that Tehran has dealt with diplomatic efforts with flexibility and responsibility. He added that Iran has presented “reasonable and generous” demands aimed at ending the ongoing conflict. Baghaei explained that the Iranian proposals took into account the security of the region’s neighbors. He also emphasized that the stability of the region is indivisible.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman criticized the American position, stating that Washington is persisting in its unilateral stances and hardline demands. This, he said, is hindering the achievement of a final agreement. He added, “It is regrettable to see this American insistence on dictates that disregard the realities on the ground and the rights of the peoples of the region.”
Foreign intervention and maritime security
Baqai stressed that the United States is the primary source of instability, calling on regional countries to strengthen their collective security without interference from external powers. He added, “American hostilities are the root cause of the unrest, and regional states must realize that true security is achieved when foreign interference ceases.” Regarding maritime tensions, Baqai held the United States and Israel fully responsible for the disruption to international shipping. He asserted that military actions in the waterways were the cause of this escalation.
Coordination with China and peace efforts
The spokesperson indicated that his country had shared its perspective with the Chinese side, warning that “reckless US actions will only exacerbate instability.”
He concluded by emphasizing Tehran’s welcome of all sincere diplomatic efforts aimed at establishing peace. He also stressed that the ball is now in the US court to demonstrate good faith and abandon its escalatory policies that harm global trade and regional security.
