Kuwait – The State of Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates using ballistic missiles and drones.
The attacks resulted in a number of injuries, and Kuwait affirmed its categorical rejection of any aggression that violates the sovereignty of states.
Rejection of regional escalation
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in an official statement that the continuation
and repetition of these attacks constitute a blatant violation of the sovereignty
of the United Arab Emirates and a direct threat to its security and stability.
Furthermore, this is an unacceptable escalation that undermines regional
and international efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
The statement emphasized that these attacks pose a serious threat to the security
and stability of the entire region, given the escalating tensions in the Middle East.
It also stressed the need to halt any military actions that could further escalate the situation.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry added that the continuation of this approach would undermine the chances for de-escalation.
Moreover, it harms international efforts aimed at strengthening regional security and stability.
Full solidarity with the UAE
Kuwait reaffirmed its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and its support
for all measures taken by the UAE to protect its security, stability, and national sovereignty.
Kuwait also expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured in the attacks,
emphasizing the deep fraternal ties between the two brotherly nations.
Kuwait’s stance comes within the framework of a series of ongoing Arab and international positions condemning the recent escalation.
Furthermore, there are growing calls for restraint and prioritizing diplomatic solutions to prevent further deterioration of the regional situation.
The region has recently witnessed escalating tensions, with continued warnings about the repercussions of any further escalation on international maritime security and the stability of global energy markets.
