ISTANBUL, Turkey – Edge Group, a leading global advanced technology and defense group, and Baikar, a global leader in drone and artificial intelligence technologies, signed two agreements during SAHA 2026. Which represents an important expansion in their strategic partnership.

Under the first contract, which was signed by Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of Edge Group, and Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Baikar. The latter will provide the necessary technical support services to Edge to integrate and review the advanced capabilities of the “Tariq” series of long-range guided munitions. Able to work in various weather conditions day and night. On the platform of the multi-role, high-altitude, long-endurance Bayraktar Akinci combat drone.

The second agreement was signed by Murad Keeling, Business Development Manager at Baikar, and Yousef Al Balushi, Senior Sales Manager at Edge. It establishes a commercial framework that allows both parties to market and present each other’s products within the offers presented to their customers. The agreement also enhances opportunities for trade cooperation and cross-marketing across a wider range of defense products and advanced technologies at the two companies.

The two agreements constitute the latest milestone in the growing strategic alliance between Edge and Baikar, enhancing the precision strike capabilities of Baikar’s drone customers. This comes as an extension of a previous agreement to integrate the DESERT STING 16 guided weapon onto the Bayraktar TB2 platform.
