Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Ministry of Defense signed two strategic partnership agreements with M42 Integrated Healthcare Group and Burjeel Holdings to support the organization of the 46th World Congress of Military Medicine,Abu Dhabi 2026, scheduled to be held from November 9 to 13.
These agreements reflect the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its position as a global hub for healthcare and specialized medical events.
The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the “Made in the UAE 2026” exhibition,
in the presence of Sheikh Zayed bin Mansour bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan
and Major General Aisha Sultan Al Dhaheri, Head of the Executive Directorate of Military Health at the Ministry of Defence.
Several senior executives from both sides were also present.
Global platform for military medicine
The World Congress of Military Medicine is a leading international scientific platform that brings together medical
and military leaders and experts from more than 120 countries to exchange experiences
and review the latest developments in healthcare and medical procedures, under the theme “Unified Care… Global Impact.”
Major General Aisha Sultan Al Dhaheri affirmed that the Ministry of Defense is working in cooperation
with its strategic partners to organize an exceptional edition of the conference.
This reflects the UAE’s advanced capabilities in both military and civilian healthcare.
She also noted that these partnerships contribute to enhancing medical preparedness and developing resilient healthcare systems.
Pivotal role for “M42” and “Burjil”
For its part, M42 Group affirmed that the partnership with the Ministry of Defense embodies
the UAE’s leadership in healthcare innovation and international cooperation.
It also indicated that the partnership will contribute to developing
a more interconnected global healthcare system, better prepared for future challenges.
In contrast, Burjeel Holdings explained that its participation supports the development of specialized healthcare systems.
Furthermore, its involvement contributes to strengthening clinical and scientific collaboration, serving both military and civilian communities.
Enhancing the UAE’s global standing
M42 will contribute its expertise in technology-enabled healthcare and data analytics,
while Burjeel Holdings will provide its expertise in clinical treatment and medical innovation,
supporting the Congress’s goals of enhancing medical preparedness and fostering integration between defense and humanitarian roles.
These partnerships reflect the ongoing collaboration between national institutions and the private healthcare sector.
