Dubai Chamber reviews efforts to "support business resilience"

Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chambers, recently organized the second quarterly meeting of 2026 for business groups and councils. This was attended by 64 groups and business councils. During the meeting, efforts to support private sector resilience in Dubai were reviewed. Enhancing the competitiveness of the emirate’s business community in light of global changes.

During the meeting, participants were briefed on the most important initiatives of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce aimed at raising the readiness of economic sectors. Supporting business continuity and the smooth flow of trade and investment in the Emirate of Dubai. In addition to highlighting the most important development priorities during the next phase.

Maha Al Gergawi, Vice President of the Business Community Interests Support Sector at Dubai Chambers, said: “Business groups and councils play a pivotal role in supporting the competitiveness of the investment environment in Dubai”. Strengthening trade ties, especially under the current circumstances. This is within the framework of integrated partnership between the public and private sectors. We are keen to create a stimulating business system that supports sustainable growth and encourages the building of effective mechanisms for joint cooperation between various concerned parties across all sectors. Which enhances Dubai’s position as a leading global center for business and investment.

The meeting witnessed an extensive dialogue session on the role of the readiness and flexibility of the government work system in supporting the business environment. Representatives from Dubai Customs and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism participated in the session. General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, in addition to Dubai Municipality.

During the meeting, the Chamber discussed the most important solutions to confront the current challenges resulting from regional and international changes. To ensure the flexibility, competitiveness and sustainability of the private sector.

During the meeting, mechanisms to support the interests of the business community were highlighted as a strategic priority for the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, which continues its efforts to expand the role of the private sector in enhancing economic competitiveness. The Chamber works to enable business groups to contribute effectively to developing regulatory frameworks and improving work mechanisms. Expanding the scope of opportunities, thus contributing to driving sustainable growth in various economic sectors.

Business groups and councils are an important link between the business community and government agencies. Through its active activities, it contributes to supporting the vital business environment in Dubai. Strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors will positively impact the growth and prosperity of companies operating in the emirate.
