Dubai, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, called on Emiratis and residents to raise the UAE flag above their homes, businesses, and buildings. He also affirmed that the flag will remain a “symbol of strength and pride” and a banner of national unity.
In a post on the X platform, His Highness stated that the UAE “entered the recent crisis united and emerged from it even more united, cohesive, and loyal.” He noted that citizens and residents, across all segments of society and in all positions, were all “united under the banner of the nation, its flag, and the symbol of its unity.”
His Highness affirmed that the UAE flag is a symbol of national pride, calling for it to be raised “high above every home and building.” He stated that it represents a testament to love and that it is a symbol of loyalty to the President of the State. Additionally, it is a banner of the unity of the Emirates and the cohesion of its people. His Highness expressed his pride in the nation, its leadership, its armed forces, its economy, its workforce, and all its citizens and residents. Finally, he concluded his statement with a prayer. He prayed that God protect the UAE and its people, and grant them continued glory and prosperity.
