Abu Dhabi, UAE – UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reassured citizens and residents, affirming that the UAE is well and capable of overcoming current challenges and emerging stronger. He also praised the role of the armed forces and security institutions in managing the repercussions of the war and regional tensions.

The UAE President emphasized that the military had fulfilled its duties to the fullest extent during this period, noting that other security agencies and national institutions had also played a vital role in maintaining the country’s security and stability under the current circumstances.

Praise for the role of citizens and residents

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed praised the actions of Emirati citizens during the crisis, emphasizing that they had once again demonstrated their sense of responsibility and their unwavering support for their nation during challenging times.

He also expressed his gratitude to the UAE’s residents, considering them an integral part of Emirati society. He stated that their conduct during this period reflected a spirit of solidarity and mutual respect. He added that residents are both guests and family in the UAE, affirming the country’s commitment to their protection and ensuring their safety and stability.

A message of resilience and confidence

The UAE President noted that the current circumstances represent an exceptional phase for the region, explaining that the country will continue to fulfill its duty to protect the nation and its people. He added that the UAE is known for its humanitarian and developmental values, but it is also capable of defending itself and protecting its national interests.

He affirmed that the Emirati people understand the nature of the challenges and trust in the ability of the state’s institutions to address them wisely and effectively. He also emphasized that national unity is a fundamental pillar in confronting crises.

He pledged to emerge stronger

Mohammed bin Zayed concluded his message by affirming that the UAE will overcome this phase and emerge stronger and more cohesive, noting that the country will continue working to protect its security and enhance its stability.

He explained that the UAE leadership is committed to continuing efforts to maintain the country’s security and the safety of its society. He also expressed his confidence in the ability of the nation and its people to overcome challenges and achieve further progress and stability in the future.
