Abu DHABI, UAE – Al Dar Group and Mubadala Investment Company “Mubadala” have completed their strategic partnership aimed at establishing a world-class retail platform.

It aims to lead the next phase of the retail sector’s development in Abu Dhabi and consolidate the emirate’s position as a preferred global destination for luxury shopping experiences and innovative retail concepts.

The house will take over the management and operation of the new platform, which aims to unify the most prominent retail and shopping destinations in Abu Dhabi under one strategic umbrella.

The partnership’s initial portfolio includes qualitative income-generating real estate assets:

Includes Yas Mall on the house side and The Luxury Collection at the Galleria on the Mubadala side.

Together, they form a leading investment portfolio in the retail sector, with a total asset value of approximately AED 10 billion.

The platform is based on strong and stable cash flows that ensure the sustainability of its income, supported by high occupancy rates of 99% in Yas Mall and 92% in the Luxury Group in the Galleria, reflecting the solid performance of these assets.

This distinguished partnership contributes to deepening and strengthening the long-term strategic cooperation between the Aldar Group and Mubadala.

It also complements directly the recently announced expansion plan for Al Maryah Island, with a value exceeding AED 60 billion.

Which would consolidate and advance the island’s position as Abu Dhabi’s leading destination for business and modern lifestyles.

The platform, which is managed by the house, will achieve significant added value by taking advantage of operational integration opportunities and enhancing returns.

The digital loyalty program “Darna” has been unified to include both the “Luxury Collection at the Galleria” and the “Galleria Isla Almaria”.

Which contributes to enhancing customer interaction and giving them rewarding rewards for their spending in these destinations.

The completion of this retail deal is an important milestone in the implementation of the strategic partnership announced by Aldar and Mubadala.

This embodies the vision of this comprehensive cooperation that covers a wide range of real estate asset classes.
