Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Wahda snatched a dramatic victory from Dibba, with a single goal, in the match that brought the two teams together on Tuesday evening, in the UAE League.
Al Wahda met Dibba at Al Nahyan Stadium, as part of the 14th round of the ADNOC Pro League competition.
Caio Canedo scored the only goal of the match in the 92nd minute, giving Al Wahda three valuable points at the start of the second round of the competition.

The match witnessed several dangerous attempts during the first half, as the post denied Al Wahda’s shot from Arnau Pradas in the 3rd minute.
Reza Ghandi Pour wasted an opportunity in front of Dibba’s goal in the 33rd minute with a shot that went wide of the goal, ending the first half in a goalless draw.
In the second half, Habib Yousef almost gave Dibba the lead with a header that went just wide of the goal in the 70th minute, before the VAR referee rejected Al Wahda’s penalty claim in the 71st minute.
Mohamed Salem made a crucial save from Ghandi Pour’s header in the 75th minute, and then again in the 82nd minute, denying the same player’s powerful shot. Caio Canedo then scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute with a perfectly placed header.
