Doha, Qatar – Al Sadd of Qatar were crowned champions of the Qatar-UAE Super Cup after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Shabab Al Ahli of the UAE. The match took place on Saturday evening at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

The match began at a fast and open pace, with Al Sadd threatening early on with a powerful shot from Mojica in the second minute that struck the post. Shabab Al Ahli responded with a header from Saeed Ezzatallah in the seventh minute.

Shabab Al Ahli opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a powerful shot from Yuri Cesar. The first half ended with the Emirati team leading 1-0.

In the second half, Al Sadd pressed hard, and the video technology awarded a penalty kick to the Qatari team, which Roberto Firmino successfully converted into the equalizing goal in the 55th minute.

Akram Afif added Al Sadd’s second goal in the 75th minute, before Shabab Al Ahli quickly equalized through Mohammed Juma in the 78th minute.

In stoppage time, Roberto Firmino snatched the winning third goal, leading Al Sadd to victory in the Qatari-Emirati Super Cup.
