Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect him, has accepted the invitation of the United States of America for the UAE to join the Peace Council.
This was announced by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed that the UAE’s decision stems from its belief in the importance of the full implementation of the 20-point peace plan put forward by US President Donald Trump regarding the Gaza Strip.
He noted that this plan represents an important path to achieving the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
Furthermore, it enhances the chances of peace and stability in the region.
The UAE, under the leadership of US President Donald Trump, reaffirmed its commitment to global peace.
This approach was clearly embodied in the historic Abraham Accords,
which contributed to opening new horizons for cooperation
and understanding among the countries of the region.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed also stressed the UAE’s readiness to actively participate in the tasks of the Peace Council,
and to support international efforts aimed at promoting security, stability and development.
This readiness seeks to achieve common prosperity
and serve the interests of the peoples of the region and the world.
