Abu Dhabi, UAE – The 18th World Future Energy Summit kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
This event is part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar).
This year’s summit is expected to be the largest and most impactful since its inception.
The summit is one of the world’s leading gatherings specializing in sustainability and clean energy.
It brings together a distinguished group of world leaders, decision-makers, and experts.
These gatherings come at a pivotal time, as the global energy sector undergoes rapid transformations.
The summit’s program includes extensive conferences and exhibitions showcasing the latest technologies
In addition, it features new interactive platforms designed to translate climate ambitions into practical and measurable outcomes.

The summit is expected to attract more than 50,000participants from approximately 150 countries.
It will also feature over 450 exhibiting companies.
In addition, nearly 400 experts and speakers from the government, energy, finance, academia, and civil society sectors will be in attendance.
All of this reinforces its position as a global platform for dialogue and partnership building.
The summit contributes to strengthening international cooperation through national pavilions and high-level forums.
Among these forums is the European Hydrogen Council Summit.
There are also partnerships with international organizations such as the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Greenpeace Middle East and North Africa.

The future of energy and sustainability

The accompanying exhibition covers various segments of the clean energy value chain.
This includes solar and renewable energy, hydrogen and clean fuels, water technologies, the circular economy, electric mobility, and green finance.
It also features rapidly growing sectors such as digital energy, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
The summit continues until January 15, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for dialogue on the future of energy and sustainability.
It also supports regional and international efforts to accelerate the transition to a lower-carbon and more sustainable economy.
