Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah welcomed 2026 with a stunning 15-minute fireworks and drone display.
It also set a new Guinness World Record in the category of “the largest Phoenix air show ever held by multi-rotor drones.”
The image of the phoenix, a symbol of renewal, optimism, and renaissance, was chosen to celebrate the spirit of progress, prosperity, and rising to new heights that characterizes the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and its ambition to create a bright future.
The parade was organized with the participation of 2,300 drones.
Among them, 1,000 advanced drones equipped with fireworks and lasers illuminated the wings of the Phoenix in a stunning display as it flew over the Ras Al Khaimah waterfront.
The show featured another stunning drone formation titled “Welcome.”
He presented a scene in the form of a human rising from the sea with open arms, expressing the emirate’s warm and open spirit and its warm reception of the world.
Following the drone display, fireworks were launched in a dazzling display that extended along six kilometers from Coral Island to Al Hamra, with a countdown until midnight.
Hundreds of fireworks went off in coordinated waves along the coast.
Thousands of spectators at Ras Al Khaimah’s beachfront resorts and visitors to the New Year’s Eve Festival enjoyed a variety of live performances and joyful celebrations.
Residents of the emirate also enjoyed an early fireworks display on Al Qawasim Corniche held earlier in the night.
With this new achievement in the Guinness Book of World Records, Ras Al Khaimah continues to enhance its track record of record-breaking performances.
It confirms its position as a leading global destination for innovative New Year celebrations.
