Abu Dhabi, UAE – The organizing committee of the Abu Dhabi Open Tennis Championship announced that emerging Canadian player Victoria Mboko, ranked 18th in the world, has joined the competitions of the fourth edition of the tournament.

This is for the first time in her career, after winning the National Bank Open in Canada and the Prudential Open in Hong Kong this year.

The tournament will be held from January 31 to February 7, 2026, at the International Tennis Center in Zayed Sports City.

This is with the participation of elite ranked female players around the world.

This year, Mboko, who is only 19 years old, began her career outside the list of the 300 best players in the world.

To advance to the top 20 recently.

The 2026 edition will also witness the return of defending champion Belinda Bencic.

She aspires to win her third title in the tournament after winning the 2023 and 2025 editions.

The organizing committee confirmed the participation of rising Filipino star Alexandra Iala.
