Dubai, UAE – Dubai Customs announced the launch of a project to update the corporate strategic plan 2026-2030.

The department stated, in a statement, that this strategic update comes at a time when the global customs work environment is witnessing fundamental transformations.
From the development of digitization and the shift towards the new economy, to the reshaping of international supply chains, and the growing reliance on artificial intelligence and intelligent systems in controlling risks and managing cross-border trade movement.
Dubai Customs stated that it held an extensive workshop that included leaders of customs departments and directors of organizational units.
This aims to discuss global and regional trends affecting the global customs and trade sector.
The Director General of Dubai Customs, Dr. Abdullah Busanad, confirmed that the project to update the strategic plan comes at a pivotal stage in which the UAE and Dubai are witnessing strong economic expansion that depends on innovation, the knowledge economy, and the development of digital infrastructure.
For his part, Director of Strategy and Corporate Excellence at Dubai Customs, Eng. Adel Al Suwaidi, said: “We are preparing for a new phase of customs innovation and maximizing the economic value of Dubai.”
