Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister: The UAE has presented a global model for development over five decades

Cairo, Egypt – Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population,

participated in the celebration held by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Cairo on the occasion of the 54th Union Day.

This took place in the new administrative capital, in the presence

of Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi and a number of ambassadors and dignitaries.

In his speech during the ceremony, Abdul Ghaffar conveyed the sincerest congratulations

and blessings from the Arab Republic of Egypt,

its leadership, government and people, to the United Arab Emirates, its leadership and people.

He stressed that celebrating this cherished occasion embodies

the depth of the ties that bind the two countries.

Longstanding fraternal relations and deep-rooted historical ties

Abdul Ghaffar said that the UAE, in just five decades, has been able

to present a global model in development and progress.

This is thanks to the wise vision, sound leadership and tireless work,

which has made its renaissance an inspiration to the region and the world.

The Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister added that Egyptian-Emirati relations are not just diplomatic relations,

Rather, it is a long-standing fraternal relationship, deep-rooted historical ties,

and strategic cooperation in various fields.

In this context, he pointed out that the leadership of the two countries

has succeeded in establishing a model to be emulated in integration and joint action to serve security, stability and development in the region.

Abdel Ghaffar also emphasized Egypt’s pride in its fruitful partnerships with the UAE in the economic, social, scientific and humanitarian fields.

He also explained that Cairo looks forward to expanding the horizons of cooperation during the next stage,

In addition to mutually benefiting from leading experiences and expertise in a way that serves the interests of both peoples.

Egypt appreciates the UAE’s supportive role

The Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister expressed Egypt’s deep appreciation for the supportive role

He emphasized Egypt’s pride in the presence of Emirati brothers

their second home, and the strong fraternal ties that bind the two peoples.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State,

the Rulers of the Emirates and its generous people,

wishing them continued progress and prosperity.

He also thanked Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi for his kind invitation

and his continued efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.
