Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training team won 11 various medals in the Asia Skills Competition – Taipei 2025.
It consisted of 4 gold, 4 silver, and 2 medals of excellence.
In addition to the Abu Dhabi Skills Award, which is given to the highest score among all contestants.
Thus, the UAE has achieved a remarkable presence in one of the most important Asian competitions specializing in technical and professional skills.
More than 29 countries participated in the competition, which included more than 300 contestants and experts, competing in 44 technical and professional skills.
Janan Khaled Al Morshedy won the Gold Medal in Health and Social Care Skills, in addition to the Abu Dhabi Skills Award and the Best of Nation title.
This was after she received the highest score among all participants in the tournament.
Maitha Sultan Al Musabi also won the gold medal in mechanical engineering drawing (CAD).
Mays Saleh Barabaa won the gold medal in car dyeing.
Maryam Hashem Al Hashemi won the gold medal in graphic design.
The four silver medals were won by Lynn Mohammed Jamea in Industrial Design Technology, Issa Khaled Al Nabhani in Computer Lathe, Youssef Ahmed Al Hosani in Electrical Connections for Juniors, and Fatima Jassim Al Ali in Electronics for Juniors.
Mansour Ahmed Siddiq in electronics and Zayed Samir Murshid in welding each won two medals for excellence.
This came after an advanced technical performance that reflects the readiness of Emirati talent to compete at the highest levels. Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, and founder and president of the Global Asia Skills Organization, said: “This great achievement achieved by the UAE youth in Taipei is not the result of coincidence, but rather a direct result of the wise vision of our wise leadership, which spares no effort in empowering Emirati youth and supporting their development”.
