Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The fourth session of the Dubai Future Forum, the largest global gathering of future experts and designers, will kick off on Tuesday.
It is organized by the Dubai Future Foundation, and its work will continue throughout November 18 and 19 at the Museum of the Future.
The forum constitutes a leading platform for anticipating future opportunities in various fields, with the participation of 2,500 experts and specialists in future design from around the world.
In addition to more than 200 speakers participating in more than 70 main sessions and dialogues within five main axes, including: an in-depth look into the future, exploring the unknown, the future of societies, the future of health, and the future of systems.
For the first time this year, “Specialized Forums Day” is being organized on November 17 and 20 in cooperation with a number of forum partners from local, regional and international institutions.
This is to discuss five vital topics: foresight and international security, foresight and strategic philanthropy, and foresight and smart acquisitions.
In addition to climate forecasting and response, and informing the future, with the participation of an elite group of specialists and experts in these fields.
Future media
A number of senior editors-in-chief of regional newspapers, television station directors and media industry leaders met.
Along with artificial intelligence experts, in a dialogue session organized by Arab News on “Media of the Future.”
Participants in the session reviewed the most prominent opportunities resulting from the development of emerging technologies in the media landscape.
In addition to the most important future trends that we must focus on keeping pace with and preparing media professionals with the skills and tools required for the upcoming changes.
They also discussed the role of artificial intelligence in journalism, advertising, communications, and content creation in the Arab world.
looking ahead
The global event will also witness the announcement of the winners of the first session of the Dubai Future Foresight Awards.
Its launch was announced last year under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
This is to celebrate innovators, distinguished people, pioneers of foresight, future designers, and those with future visions and creative ideas from around the world.
In addition to highlighting their qualitative achievements in three main areas: the foundations of anticipating the future and its theories, anticipating the future of societies, and anticipating the future of the environment.
Also, the Future Novel Awards ceremony will be organized, celebrating writers and authors who inspire new generations of future experts and consultants with their writings and works.
