Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The UAE continues its efforts to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake that struck northern Afghanistan.
So far, the UAE has sent 5 planes loaded with 5,400 food baskets weighing 135 tons.

This is to provide support and assistance to those affected by the repercussions of the earthquake.
The fifth plane arrived – during the past 24 hours – carrying food parcels to provide aid to those affected and mitigate the effects of the disaster on the affected families.

The UAE’s relief efforts in Afghanistan reflect its firm humanitarian approach and its constant keenness to support people affected by disasters around the world.
This makes it a global model for integrated humanitarian relief work and confirms its commitment to solidarity with the world’s diverse peoples in times of crisis.
