Through interactive sessions and practical workshops that enhance thinking about designing and implementing sustainable initiatives and projects.

He added that it supports building influential partnerships between the governmental and international sectors in the fields of development, environment and society.

For his part, Jeffrey Sachs, President of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, said that the Sustainable Development Goals Leaders Preparation Program contributes to supporting government leaders to confront the major challenges of our time.

He pointed out that achieving sustainable development requires leaders who think systematically, plan effectively, and enhance trust across borders and sectors.

He added that this program in the UAE strengthens these capabilities and builds a generation of leaders who will achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and work for a more peaceful and prosperous world.

He said that the Sustainable Development Goals Academy, affiliated with the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network “SDSN”, is honored to support the UAE Government Knowledge Exchange Office and the UAE National Committee for Sustainable Development Goals in this distinguished program.

As part of its first track, the program witnessed the organization of intensive dialogue and interactive sessions over five days, which discussed the most prominent axes of sustainable development and future leadership.
