Manama, Bahrain – The UAE Electronic Sports Federation announced, on Friday, the selection of 5 male and female players to participate in the Asian Youth Games.
Which is currently being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The UAE eSports team is participating in three competitions.
Sarah Al-Junaibi is competing in women’s electronic football competitions.
While Hilal Al Marri competes in “street fighting”, Hamdan Al Marzouqi, Mohammed Al Hosani and Nahyan Al Shehhi are competing in the Rocket League.
The mission left today for Bahrain in preparation for participation.
Saeed Ali Al Taher, Secretary General of the UAE E-Sports Federation, stressed that this participation comes as an extension of the Federation’s efforts to empower young national talents and provide them with the opportunity to gain experience.
This is done by interacting with the best players in the Asian continent.
It also enjoys support and follow-up from the National Olympic Committee.
