Berlin, Germany – Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Special Envoy to Germany, made an official working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, during which he held a number of bilateral meetings with senior officials in the German government.

Al Jaber also met with Katerina Reich, Minister of Economy and Energy.
The two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of industry, energy sector and advanced technology.
Focusing on joint investment opportunities in the areas of energy and green hydrogen sector transformation.

During the meeting, the possibility of exploring and finding new strategic opportunities to develop qualitative partnerships between companies and institutions in the fields of advanced manufacturing, supply chains, and modern industrial technologies was discussed and discussed.

It is worth noting that the volume of non-oil trade exchange between the two countries achieved a growth of 3.9% during 2024, recording 49.9 billion dirhams.
Non-oil trade also continued to grow during the first six months of 2025.
This represents a 19% increase compared to the same period in 2024, recording approximately AED 27.6 billion, driven by growth in all components of bilateral trade.
Exports increased by 110%, imports by 15%, and re-exports grew by about 10%.
