Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Mubadala Investment Company, in partnership with Antler and Hub71, announced the launch of the National Founders Program.
It is a six-week strategic research project initiative, aiming to transform pioneering university research into startups and commercial projects.

This initiative is an extension of Mubadala’s investment in Antler and embodies its commitment to supporting the innovation ecosystem in the UAE.
Under this partnership, Antler will oversee the early stages of the program. The focus will be on launching ideas, verifying the feasibility of projects, and developing the founders’ businesses.
While Hub71, a technology ecosystem that includes startups, investors, institutional entrepreneurs and future-oriented government agencies, will host the program. It will act as a platform that aims to expand its scope and link academic research with the broader technology and investment ecosystem in Abu Dhabi.

Participants in this program will benefit, in an organized manner, from the Hub71 system’s extensive network of mentors, specialized experts, and strategic partners.
Participants will also receive customized services for founders such as multiple franchises, regulatory support, and market leveraging opportunities. These are designed to accelerate the growth of early-stage startups.
Through its experience in running founder-focused programs and supporting startups in 24 sectors, Hub71 will provide specially designed workshops. The aim is to support the establishment phase and strengthen relationships with investors. This will help in engaging in the innovation system in Abu Dhabi.
This program targets promising research cadres from Abu Dhabi’s leading universities.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to join a carefully designed curriculum. This includes workshops, training, and gaining experience in specific fields.
