  • Operations rooms to assess the situation

Cairo, Egypt – Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation announced on Saturday that it has raised the alert level in the country’s airspace, closely monitoring regional developments and the military escalation following the joint operations launched by the United States and Israel against targets in Iran. The ministry confirmed that all its departments are on high alert to ensure the safety of airspace and air traffic at all Egyptian airports.

Real-time coordination with international bodies

The Ministry explained that monitoring is being conducted in real-time coordination with relevant domestic and international authorities and aviation organizations to ensure adherence to the highest safety standards and the protection of aircraft and passengers transiting Egyptian airspace or traveling to and from national airports.
The Ministry urged travelers to review their flight information and contact their airlines or official channels to confirm departure and arrival times and to be aware of any potential changes to flight paths resulting from recent developments in the region.

Operations rooms to assess the situation

According to local media, central operations rooms have been activated to assess the situation in real time and take all necessary operational and precautionary measures to ensure the smooth operation of airports, particularly Cairo International Airport, and to maintain the flow of air traffic while minimizing any potential negative impacts.
This move comes as part of the state’s efforts to maintain operational stability amidst the exceptional circumstances in the Middle East region, especially following the launch of Operations “Lion’s Roar” and “Epic Wrath.”
