London, Britain – The Dubai Land Department reviewed, during its participation in the “Proptic Connect Europe 2026” conference and exhibition, which was held in London on September 9 and 10. Dubai’s advanced model for regulating the real estate market and developing it digitally. The department confirmed that its participation supports the goals of the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. It is preparing to host the second edition of “Proptic Connect Middle East” in Dubai on February 3 and 4, 2027.
The department’s delegation included Majid Al Marri, Executive Director of the Institutional Support Sector, and Muhammad Yahya, Director of the Real Estate Transactions Department. Talal Al Suwaidi, Senior Project Manager. Participation included sessions, workshops, specialized meetings, meetings with representatives of the City of London, and the signing of memorandums of understanding.
Al Marri reviewed the flexibility of the Dubai Real Estate Market, noting the completion of 104 projects worth more than AED 111 billion during the first half of 2026. With a growth of 38.7% in the number of projects and 52% in their value. The First Property Ownership Program registered more than 45,000 registrants and enabled more than 3,200 residents to own their first home.
For his part, Mohammed Yahya reviewed the “Initial Registration” platform supported by artificial intelligence, automation, and the “Dubai Rest” application. Stressing the importance of integrating developers, regulators, banks, brokers and technology companies.
The participation comes after Dubai hosted the first edition of “Proptic Connect Middle East” last February. With over 3,000 participants and over 300 speakers.
