Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre announced a strategic partnership with global cryptocurrency trading platform Crypto.com”.

This aims to enhance the applications of symbolism in global commodity markets and lay the foundations for an advanced next-generation trade infrastructure.

The center stated, in a statement, that under a newly signed memorandum of understanding, the two parties will discuss ways to employ blockchain technology to reduce the complexities of the settlement.

In addition to enhancing price transparency and expanding market access across key commodity sectors.

Including precious metals, diamonds, energy and agricultural products.

The two parties will also evaluate the possibility of listing coded goods on the Crypto platform.com” (subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals and meeting strict listing requirements).

In addition to exploring custody models, liquidity support mechanisms, the possibility of facilitating digital asset payments across the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre’s digital platforms, and selected use cases for its members.
