Bridge 2025 provides a platform for student innovation in the creative industries sector
These projects reflect a contemporary student vision of the creative industries and national identity (Image/WAM)

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Bridge 2025 Summit provided a student platform to showcase a number of innovative initiatives in the media and creative industries.

Which focuses on enhancing the role of advanced technology and artificial intelligence in this sector.

Through the participation of a group of students from the Faculties of Applied Media and Education, the Higher Colleges of Technology Pavilion highlighted the role of emerging technologies in bringing about a radical transformation in creative practices and storytelling methods.

The projects presented focused on the masterful blend of artworks and traditional heritage on the one hand, and advanced digital technologies on the other.

Reflecting the ability to shape the future of creative industries while preserving the country’s national identity.

The projects presented highlight the pivotal role of higher technical colleges in preparing national competencies capable of leading the transformation in the creative industries.

By presenting works that combine innovation and entrepreneurial thought.

The works include the “Farjan” project, which combines Emirati crafts and 3D printing technologies, and the luxury “Baynouna Perfumes” project, which provides an integrated model for building a brand identity.

In addition to innovations in product design, such as the “Nico World” brand for educational games, and the “Little Farmer” project, which is a story project and an educational tool to instill agricultural concepts.

In terms of media production projects and virtual and augmented reality technology, the platform displays innovative films produced by students that focus on addressing societal issues with an influential visual approach.

Along with virtual and augmented reality experiences that allow users to interact with local stories within innovative simulated environments.

Shows of digital characters and animations inspired by Emirati tales are also presented, and re-presented in a style suitable for the digital generation.

In addition to a collection of interactive e-books that reshape the concept of early learning with animated digital media.

These projects reflect a contemporary student vision of the creative industries and national identity.

It also proves that technology is not just a display tool, but an effective means of documenting the UAE’s cultural heritage and transmitting it to future generations in an interactive manner.

In addition to providing an educational and media experience that inspires the recipient and keeps pace with the mindset of the new digital generation.
