Cairo, Egypt – Actress Asmaa Galal is preparing for a new and important step in her artistic career, after signing on to star in the series “Khatm Al-Dafra,” which represents the first work in which she will fully star, and is scheduled to be shown via one of the digital platforms, in a different experience that reflects the development of her choices during the recent period.
Outside of the Ramadan season
This move coincided with her absence from Ramadan 2026 dramas, as she preferred to stay away from traditional competition and focus on works shown outside the season, especially after the success she achieved in the series “Ashghal Shaka Jiddan” during Ramadan 2025, which increased the audience’s anticipation for her new project “Khatm Al-Dafra”.
The success of “Very Apartment Work”
The series “Ashghal Shaka Geddan” was one of her most prominent recent works, in which she co-starred with Hesham Maged. The work presented a social comedy story about a couple facing the challenges of raising children in a framework full of funny situations, and the work achieved great public interaction when it was shown.
Ongoing cinematic activity
On the film front, Asmaa Galal is currently filming “The Elephant and the Dolphin,” a new comedy co-starring Ahmed Fahmy, through which she aims to solidify her presence on the big screen.
Galal also starred in “The Ladder and the Snake 2,” where she portrayed a new character in a romantic drama with a contemporary approach to human relationships, adding a different dimension to her artistic career.
She also recently appeared in the social comedy “If the Cat is Gone,” continuing her diversification of roles in both television and film and further cementing her growing presence in the artistic scene.
