Moscow, Russia – Moscow announced that its air and defense forces successfully thwarted a large-scale air attack by Ukraine. Over the past day, they shot down 93 drones before they reached their targets.
The Russian Ministry of Defense described this achievement as proof of the readiness of its defense systems and their ability to counter any threats from the sky.
Moscow asserted that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to maintain national security and effectively monitor airspace. It noted that the use of drones by Ukrainian forces constitutes an escalation but has not affected the stability of Russian defenses.
The authorities stressed that monitoring and countermeasures will continue resolutely, and that any new attempt at aerial intrusion will be dealt with immediately to ensure the safety of vital facilities and cities.
