Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The UAE Judo Federation announced the approval of the participation of 300 male and female players from 23 countries. They will take part in the first Abu Dhabi International Championship.
Which will be held next Saturday, at Al-Ittihad Hall in Bani Yas. It will be the first official event of the new season 2025-2026.
The Federation confirmed in a statement that the participation of 120 male and female players from the UAE has been approved.
This includes the total number of participants from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco. Additionally, participants come from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan. Also, participants from Azerbaijan, Russia, India, Brazil, France, Germany, Belgium, and Italy are included.
He explained that the competitions begin in the junior category.
The second day, next Sunday, has been approved for the men’s and girls’ categories.
After completing the balance procedures for all participants of both genders, according to the tournament schedule.
