Cairo, Egypt – Al Ahly’s perfect start to the Egyptian Premier League season came to an end after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Al Mokawloon Al Arab. The match took place this evening as part of the fourth round of the competition.
The match, which was highly competitive, was held at the Green Mountain Stadium. Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab managed to secure a valuable point against the title contenders.
Al Mokawloon Al Arab took the lead first through Islam Gaber, who successfully converted a penalty in the 38th minute. Al Ahly then managed to get back into the game in the second half.
Ahmed Mostafa Zizo equalized for Al Ahly in the 58th minute, scoring from the penalty spot. Both teams continued their efforts after that, but neither could find a winning goal.
