Istanbul, Turkey – Trabzonspor and Kasimpasa played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium, in the first round of the Turkish League for the 2026-2027 season.
Trabzonspor started the match offensively and managed to break the deadlock two minutes before the end of the first half, when Noah Saviolo scored the opening goal in the 43rd minute, taking advantage of a cross which he converted with a direct shot into the Kasimpasa goal.

— beIN SPORTS (@beINSPORTS) August 15, 2026 At the start of the second half, the home side managed to get back into the game, after Kasimpasa were awarded a penalty in the 55th minute, which Adrian Benediczak successfully executed, shooting the ball to the right of the Trabzonspor goalkeeper.

— beIN SPORTS (@beINSPORTS) August 15, 2026 Mohamed Salah entered the field in the 58th minute, after coming on as a substitute for Metehan Memaroglu, to give his team an attacking boost during the second half of the match.
Trabzonspor almost regained their lead in the 69th minute, after a cross from Mohamed Salah inside the penalty area was met by Stefan Savic with a header, but Kasimpasa’s goalkeeper made a brilliant save and cleared the ball before it entered his net.
Mohamed Salah returned to pose a threat to the home team’s goal in the 77th minute, after he dribbled past Kasimpasa’s defenders inside the penalty area, then tried to pass the ball to Onuachu, but the opponent’s defense intervened at the right moment and cleared it.
The final minutes saw attempts by both teams to decide the match, but neither succeeded in scoring the winning goal, leaving Trabzonspor and Kasimpasa with a point each at the start of their Turkish league campaign.
