Mallorca, Spain – Paris Saint-Germain suffered a 3-0 defeat against Real Mallorca in a friendly match played Wednesday evening as both teams prepare for the start of the new season.
Zito Luvumbu opened the scoring for Real Mallorca in the 21st minute. Then Jean Virgili extended the home side’s lead by scoring the second goal in the 40th minute.
In the second half, Antonio José Raillo Aridas added Real Mallorca’s third goal in the 51st minute. This confirmed the Spanish team’s superiority and sealed the match with a clean three-goal victory.
Paris Saint-Germain continues its preparations for the new season. They will face Manchester United in a friendly match next Saturday, before taking on Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup.
The Parisian team will also begin their domestic season against Lens in the French Super Cup on August 16. Following that, they will kick off their Ligue 1 campaign by hosting Rennes.
Meanwhile, Real Mallorca will kick off their La Liga campaign against Real Valladolid on August 15th. This match is part of the first round of La Liga fixtures.
