Cairo, Egypt – Al Ahly SC officially announced the signing of Algerian international Moncef Bekar, coming from Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, as part of strengthening the team’s ranks in preparation for the 2026-2027 football season.
Al Ahly of Egypt confirmed, through its official platforms, that Bakar signed a contract that extends for three seasons, to continue with the team until the summer of 2029, becoming the club’s fourth signing during the current summer transfer window.
The club explained that Essam Siraj, head of the contracts sector, completed all contracting procedures in Croatia, after finalizing the financial and administrative agreement with Dinamo Zagreb, in coordination with Wael Gomaa, the football director.
Al Ahly of Egypt continues to strengthen its ranks with new players, as part of the management and technical staff’s plan to prepare the team to compete for various championships in the upcoming season.
Al Ahly of Egypt had completed three deals during the current summer transfer window, signing the duo Aktai Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud from Enppi, in addition to signing the Moroccan striker Soufiane Benjedida, who came from Olympique Safi.
