Liverpool, England – Liverpool manager Arne Sloat has announced that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is fit and available for selection against Manchester City in the FA Cup.
The Etihad Stadium will host the highly anticipated quarter-final clash between the two teams at 3:45 PM tomorrow, Saturday. English football fans are eagerly awaiting this exciting and competitive encounter.
During the pre-match press conference, Slott confirmed Salah’s readiness, saying: “Mohamed is ready. He has participated in training over the past two days and is available to play against Manchester City”.
Salah suffered a muscle injury during Liverpool’s Champions League match against Galatasaray, which ended in a 4-0 victory for the Reds. This caused him to miss the Premier League match against Brighton, which Liverpool lost 2-1.
The Egyptian national team captain also missed the March international training camp, during which Egypt played two friendly matches, defeating Saudi Arabia 4-0 and drawing 0-0 with Spain.
Salah’s return represents a significant boost for Liverpool ahead of their highly anticipated clash against Manchester City, given his crucial role as one of the team’s key attacking players.
