Belgrade, Serbia – The Saudi national team suffered another defeat against its Serbian counterpart with a score of (2-1), in the friendly match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, as part of the “Green” team’s preparations to compete in the 2026 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The match, which was part of the two teams’ preparations for upcoming international competitions, was held at the TSC Arena in the Serbian capital, Belgrade.
Saudi Arabia opened the scoring early in the eighth minute through Abdullah Al-Hamdan, before Serbia returned to the game with an equalizer in the 66th minute through Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Only four minutes later, Aleksandar Mitrovic scored Serbia’s second goal in the 70th minute, confirming his country’s superiority and sealing the victory.
