Arsenal asserted their dominance early and converted it into a goal in the 27th minute through Martin Zubimendi. The home side’s task became even more difficult when the Gunners doubled their lead in the 38th minute, courtesy of an own goal by Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
