Rabat, Morocco – Senegalese star Sadio Mane has revealed when he will retire from international football, following his country’s victory in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Senegal won the continental championship title after defeating Morocco 1-0 in the final match held on Sunday evening.
Mane told beIN SPORTS: “I will try to participate in the 2026 World Cup, and then I will stop playing internationally.”
The Lions of Teranga star also spoke about his physical fitness, stressing: “The Saudi League is very competitive and very strong, and you should know that it is one of the best leagues in the world.”
Sadio Mane played a key role in Senegal’s title win, scoring two goals and providing three assists throughout the tournament.
