Rabat, Morocco – The Egyptian national football team, led by coach Hossam Hassan, concluded its training in preparation for facing the Ivory Coast national team, scheduled for Saturday evening, as part of the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Egypt is scheduled to meet Ivory Coast tomorrow, Saturday, at Adrar Stadium, in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the national team’s midfielder, participated in the Pharaohs’ group training session. This allowed the coaching staff to assess the fitness of all players present, with the exception of Mohamed Hamdi, who suffered a cruciate ligament injury during the Round of 16 match against Benin.
Today, the training session of the “Pharaohs” was attended by Engineer Hani Abu Rida, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Football Association and supervisor of the first team, and Hamada El Sherbini, Mustafa Abu Zahra, Mohamed Abu Hussein and Walid Darwish, members of the Board of Directors.
