Doha, Qatar – The lineup for the 2025 Arab Cup finals in Qatar was completed on Wednesday evening after Sudan and Comoros secured the final two group stage spots in a night of dramatic twists and turns.
In Doha, Sudan defeated Lebanon 2-1 despite playing with ten men from the first minute. With this victory, they secured their place in Group D alongside Algeria, Iraq, and Bahrain. The “Falcons of Jediane” overturned an early Lebanese goal, with Mustafa Mohamed and Yasser Jobak scoring the winning goals.
In another match, Comoros came back from a 2-4 deficit against Yemen to secure a stunning 4-4 draw. After the draw, they won 4-2 on penalties to join a group that includes Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Oman also qualified after defeating Somalia on penalties, and Bahrain by defeating Djibouti 1-0.
