Casablanca, Morocco – The UAE table tennis team raised its tally to 5 colored medals in the 36th edition of the Arab Table Tennis Teams Championship.
The tournament is currently being held in Casablanca, Morocco, after winning two silver medals in the doubles competition.
The duo, Ahmed Saeed and Youssef Al-Hawaii, won silver in the U-15 cubs category after qualifying for the final and losing to the Saudi national team.
Meanwhile, the duo Ali Al-Hawai and Hamad Al-Hashemi won silver in the U-17 junior category after reaching the final match and losing to the Qatari team.
The UAE national team had previously won 3 medals in team competitions.
This came after he won gold under 13 years old, silver under 17 years old, and bronze under 15 years old.
