The Victorian team's boats shined in the second Sprint/WAM race

Tuba, Indonesia – The UAE boats recorded a major superiority in the “Sprint Races” competitions. This was in the opening round of the Formula 1 World Boat Championship.

This took place on Lake Toba in Indonesia, with the participation of 20 boats representing elite international teams.

The Victory boats shone in the second sprint race. The Victory 4 boat, led by Sean Torrenty, took first place.

Victory 3, led by Alex Wickstrom, came in second. Abu Dhabi 6, led by Eric Stark, came in third. Moreover, Abu Dhabi 5, led by Mansour Al Mansouri, came in ninth.

The Sharjah 17 boat, led by Philippe Rostowet, achieved second place in the first sprint race.

The Sharjah 18 boat, led by Stefan Arand, came fifth.

Tomorrow, all eyes will be on the main race. The UAE boats will start from advanced positions, with the Victory team boats from second and third places.

This includes the Sharjah 17 boat from fourth place. The Abu Dhabi 6 boat will start from seventh place, the Sharjah 18 boat from ninth place, and the Abu Dhabi 5 boat from eighteenth place.

The Swedish Jonas Andersson, the defending champion, tops the starting list.

The race will be held over a distance of 2,000 meters across a specific number of rounds. It marks the actual start of collecting points for the season title.
